Sales Representative

Cummins Bridgeway, LLC is looking to fill the position of Sales Representative, Automotive Indirect Sales available at our Cincinnati branch location.
Job Summary:
Promote sale of equipment, related products and programs and new products where appropriate by marketing to current and potential customers throughout the branch territory. Includes Cummins/Onan, Kubota, Linamar, equipment, ReCon Engines and Generators, Cummins Power Generation and Combined Energy System equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop assigned account list and account plans for current and prospective customers within assigned territory.
- Develop and implement action plans to obtain sales objective.
- Prepare quotations using company provided software programs.
- Accurate job tracking and forecasting.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations.
- Develop specifications for:
- Engines/generators and prototype equipment, or
- Provide the necessary guidance to ensure products are installed per manufacturers recommendations.
- Engines/generator and prototype equipment, or
- Utilize all marketing programs to obtain sales objectives.
- Market products to end users, dealer accounts, OEM’s and DOEM’s.
- Engine/generator equipment and related products, or
- Assist with the development and implementation of:
- Cummins Power Generation marketing program
Education/Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent education or work related experience.
- Five years experience with construction equipment, truck engines, or generators.
- Working knowledge of engine and generator applications and services.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Cummins/Onan, parts and warranties.
- Familiar with engines and generators or power generation systems.
- Knowledge or experience related to mechanical/electrical principles.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Windows-based Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Current and valid driver license.
- Ability to travel, which could require an overnight stay.
